The WIND GENERATOR project allows the user to construct a model Wind Generator that can be used to demonstrate how wind energy is used to create electrical energy.
By connecting the printed circuit board (with a graduated LED display) to the generator, it allows visual monitoring of the Wind Generator’s electrical output.
(We stock Anemometers with LCD display to measure wind speed and temperature - CODE: ANEMOLCD).
NOTE: We also have a kit available for making this project using a Breadboard in place of the PCB, making it a No-Solder kit (see WINDGENBRBD).
Soldering Required: Yes
Hours to Construct: 5 - 10
Components included: Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, PCB
Level: Intermediate
Click here to see our teaching unit Overview for important information relating to the kit including additional requirements.
Prototype illustrated is one of several possible outcomes.
