The simple hand-held unit is used for demonstrating that white light is comprised of all the spectral colours through the mixing of these colours.
An 80mm multi-coloured circular disc mounted on low voltage DC motor. The disc has sectors of various spectral colours in quadrants. When the disc is rotated, all the colours appear to disappear by merging into a single white colour.
The unit is supplied with colour-coded wires terminated in 4mm banana plugs, connected to the motor for power output.
